How to Modify Your Goblin

The goblin pattern has all the body parts you will need to create your own fan art. The things it does not include are the patterns for the facial ridges, fingers, toes, and robe. With slight modification to the ears and removal of the nose, the bodies are identical. Below is a list of suggestions and not full instructions.

For the ears, add an extra 5 rounds after Round 18 in the pattern. Skip Round 19 and the finishing instructions altogether and just sew the ears on after you have gotten to Round 23.

Do not add the nose included in the pattern. Instead, embroider one on the face.

For the facial ridges, I used a couple of chains with single crochets to add the raised facial definition. I also made a small heart to make the brow ridge in the middle of the forehead.

For the fingers, I only used 3 instead of 4 per arm. I also did a color change after the second round using an off white. Also, add one more round of 9 stitches.

For the toes, I only used 3 instead of 4 per foot. I also did the same color change after the second round as I did for the fingers. For the smaller toes, I added one more round of 9 stitches. For the larger toes, I added two more rounds.

Below is a free robe pattern that will fit the doll. I used a 3.25 mm hook and Red Heart Cafe (7 oz / 198 g / 364 yd. / 333 m).
